Hello friends, I lost my algebra textbook yesterday. It’s out of stock and so I can’t find it in any of the stores near my place. I have an option of hiring a private instructor but then I live in a very remote area so any tutor would charge a very high hourly rate to come over. Now the problem is that I have my exam next week and I am not able to study since I lost my textbook. I couldn’t read the chapters on simplify exponential expressions with negatives and simplify exponential expressions with negatives. A few more topics such as hyperbolas, adding exponents, rational inequalities and graphing inequalities are still not so clear to me. I need some help guys!

I possibly could help you if you can be more specific and provide details about simplify exponential expressions with negatives. A right computer program would be ideal rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found . It solves any algebra problem from your book . It also explains all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

Yeah, that’s so true . I’ve tried that software program in the past and it works like a charm. The step by step that it provides, will not only solve the problem at hand, but will also equip you with the skills to solve similar puzzles in the future. All my doubts pertaining to binomials and unlike denominators were cleared once I started using this software. So go ahead and try Algebrator.

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds great . I needed something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ?

It is available at http://www.mathpoint.net/singularvalues.html and really is the easiest program to get up and running. You can start learning algebra within minutes of downloading the software.
