Hi! Our class just started tackling a new topic in math regarding volume of a parabola and I did good for most homeworks we had but the latest one my professor gave really complicated so I'd love if somebody would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but still can’t get it right. I can’t answer it easily unlike the other assignments. I had no trouble answering my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of leading coefficient gives me a hard time just knowing how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in explaining the steps and how to solve it in a organized and clear way.

How about some more details on your difficulty with volume of a parabola? I might be able to give some information on . If you are not able to get a good tutor or some one to sit and sort out your difficulty or if it is not affordable, then there might be another easy way out . There are some good algebra programs that you can look into . I tested them out myself. It came across to me as good as any tutor can be. I would choose Algebrator for the kind of answer that you are in search of . What is nice about it is that it assists you step by step to the answer rather than simply giving the answer. Why not give it a try ?

Yeah, I think so too . Algebrator explains everything in such great detail that even a beginner can learn the tricks of the trade, and crack some of the most tough mathematical problems. It explains each and every intermediate step that it took to reach a certain solution with such perfection that you’ll learn a lot from it.

I have tried a number of math programs . I would not name them here, but they were of no use . I hope this one is not like the one’s I’ve used in the past .

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving unlike denominators, side-side-side similarity and algebraic signs. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 2. I highly recommend the program.
