I’m quite familiar in lesson plan solving systems of equations by elimination . However, it’s quite hard to explain it. I may help you answer it but since the solution is complex, I doubt you will really understand the whole process of solving it so it’s recommended that you really have to ask someone to explain it to you in person to make the explaining clearer. Good thing is that there’s this software that can help you with your problems. It’s called Algebrator and it’s an amazing piece of program because it does not only show the answer but it also shows the process of solving it. How cool is that? |

I am a student turned teacher ; I give classes to high school children. Along with the regular mode of teaching , I use Algebrator to solve questions practically in front of the students. |

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds awesome. I wished for something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it without any help , not just copy the answers . Where can I find the software? |

I remember having often faced problems with scientific notation, point-slope and factoring expressions. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I greatly recommend the program. |
