I have a way out for you and it might just prove to be a better one than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution . I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on exponential rules math games and I really enjoyed using it.

Algebrator indeed is a very good software to help you learn math, without having to go to school. You won’t just get the problem solved but the entire solution as well, that’s how concepts are built . And to do well in math, it’s important to have strong concepts. I would highly recommend using this software if you want to finish your project on time.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes College Algebra, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with yintercept, triangle similarity and linear algebra. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.

Friends , Thanks a lot for the replies that you have offered. I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.mathpoint.net/scientificnotation.html. The best part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are offering there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really user friendly and turns up to be a noteworthy tool for Basic Math.
