Haha! absences are troublesome especially when you missed an important topic like compound inequality that is really quite complicated. Have you tried using Algebrator before? I remember having problems with point-slope, simplifying fractions and function composition. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
