parabolic curve

I'm just wondering if someone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the concepts behind parabolic curve. I find solving equations really tough . I work in the evening and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

Hey , just a month ago, I was stuck in a similar scenario . I had even considered the option of leaving math and selecting some other subject. A colleague of mine told me to give one last try and gave me a copy of Algebrator. I was at comfort with it within an hour. My grades have really improved within the last year .

Thank you, I will check out the suggested program . I have never studied with any software until now, I didn't even know that they exist. But it sure sounds great ! Where did you find the software ? I want to get it as soon as possible , so I have time to study for the test .
